Royal Road Race

 Saskatchewan’s Premier Running Event

Saturday May 10, 2025

The 12th annual Royal Road Race, hosted by the Jaleta Pacers and the RCMP is once again being held on Mother’s Day weekend.  Since it began, this race has contributed over $273,326.00 to local charities.  Held entirely on the RCMP Training Academy in Regina, this fast course has something for everyone with 5k and 10k races, a 5k walk, 5k wheelchair and a 1k Mini-Mountie for children.  Mercedes-Benz of Regina are returning for their third year as Race Presenting Sponsors.

As a tribute for Mother’s Day, the fastest mother in each of the 5k and 10k race will receive a special gift.  New this year in recognition of your running accomplishment will be a dazzling set of Hillberg & Berk sparkle ball earrings given to all 5k and 10k finishers.

I first came to the Royal Road Race a decade ago because Ted seemed so excited about it. He was right. It’s the fastest and best organized road race in the province. Great course, meal, awards and crowds.   I will be bringing my Saskatoon running group to this one as long as Ted and the crew want to put it on!

Jason Warick, Saskatchewan marathon record holder and coach.

The Royal Road Race is the race I reference as a model on how to put on a great race experience.   Accurate course, great food, well organized, are some of reasons this race should be experienced by anyone interested in running. You will feel like royalty at this event.
